The room although small was very clean & comfortable more than adequate for us . I wouldn't recommend having your windows open the road is very noisy, but the staff more than accommodate this to keep you cool in the warmer months with a large ceiling fan & a portable floor fan so we had no problems sleeping . I would also like to thank London Stay for accommodating with a 1st floor apartment due to health reasons it was truly appreciated!! This apartment block has local convenience stores for all your needs & is about a 10 minute walk to Surrey Quays train station & more shops , pubs & takeaways etc . Just two short tube trips to the 02 arena ( approx 10 -15 mins journey) with the tubes being so regular... absolutely perfect for our visit to see Peter Kay ! The kitchenette is small but there is a kettle , toaster, microwave, oven & 2 hob rings & sink ... compact but does the job just don't plan to make a meal as such , the utensils are minimal... but still great place to stay for a long weekend!!!

We needed somewhere to stay at very short notice and this was booked in haste as there were very few places within our budget available for the nights we needed. We were therefore very pleasantly surprised when we got into our room. It was compact, but very comfortable and quiet. We were able to control the temperature easily, which was great as it was during snowy weather so to have a nice cosy room was very welcome. The kitchen was well equipped for such a small space, with oven, microwave, toaster and kettle. We absolutely loved the original features in the bathroom and as we were in the attic we had a wonderful view of the stonework on the roof from our skylight windows. While it's a bit out of the way, there is a bus stop outside with two buses that take you to the nearest underground station in 10 minutes, or an eight minute walk to the nearest overground station. Will definitely stay again.

Great little bedsit style room. Really spacious with plenty of storage. Comfortable bed, small dining table and chairs, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, kettle, sink, mugs, glasses, plates and cutlery. Washing up liquid provided but oddly no tea towel. Bed linen and towels hairdryer, super shower in small bathroom. Room has opening windows and being a basement room was nice and cool on a hot day. Lovely park just across the road which has a parkrun on Saturday morning. Close to transport links. Lots of fascinating history on the doorstep too. Young chap on reception was friendly and helpful.

The room was on the second floor of the building with nice wide stairs for access. The entry into the building is with keycard access which was nice and easy. Beds were comfy and clean. There were blinds to the windows which stopped anything seeing in but not much protection against sunlight i.e. when the sun comes out the room lights up.

Nice and quiet and the location suited us very well and not too far from the station. We had a little problem with the electrics and thankfully was quickly sorted . The staff were very friendly and helpful and we would be happy to stay there again .
